Virtual Fling - Celebrating Redstone 

Welcome to the 18th annual Highlands Fling!  We are so glad that you are joining us for our first attempt at a virtual event.  The past nine months have been a time of constant flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to pivot as needed to keep our residents, employees, and community, safe.  We are far from experts at producing virtual events, but we are grateful to be able to “gather” here together to celebrate how much we love Redstone. 

Participation in this year’s event is free.  We hope that you will share the links to the site with all of your friends and family so that we can broaden the circle of support for Redstone.  We invite you to….

We then hope you will participate in our activities on RallyUP, the platform we have chosen for activities related to our event.  This secure site will provide you with an opportunity to set up a user account and shop the night away! 


What’s a Fling without a 50/50 raffle?  You can CLICK HERE to purchase your virtual arm’s list of tickets for $20. 


Everyone loves a Basket Raffle, right?  CLICK HERE to shop through our available baskets and purchase the number of tickets that you wish to enter for each basket.  Once you have added tickets to one basket to your “cart”, simply click more to keep shopping and add tickets for more baskets to your cart before checking out. 


And of course, what’s a Fling without an amazing auction?  Our items are sure to delight you again this year.  CLICK HERE to visit our auction.  With everything from very reasonably priced sports memorabilia, to amazing vacation home stays, you can do your holiday shopping right here!  When you bid, you may enter the highest price that you are willing to pay for an item, and the site will continue to increase your bid if others are bidding against you.  You will receive a notification if you are outbid. 


Our raffles and auctions will draw to a close at 11:59 pm on Sunday, November 30th.  Winners of auctions will be charged at the conclusion of the auction.  We will be hosting pickup hours at our Chapel Hill Office location the following week, or we can arrange to send your winnings to you. Pick up times will be Monday, November 30th to Friday, December 4th from 9am to 4pm; Wednesday, December 2nd from 9am to 8pm; and Saturday, December 5th from 10am to 12noon 


Proceeds of all of these Virtual Fling activities will benefit benevolent care for residents in need of support at Redstone.  So your participation means everything to some very special people. 


Last, but certainly not least, we encourage you to make a donation if you have not already done so.  CLICK HERE to donate.  In addition to benevolent care, our gifting opportunities include special projects like Covid supplies and expenses, updated sound and streaming systems for our chapels, campus enhancements, the Hope fund for employees, in crisis, etc.  Donations to all of these projects are tax-deductible and will make a difference in the lives of our residents, their families, our employees, and the communities that we serve.
